1/31/2014 - Lazy Friday

Phineas and Ferb for my boys on a lazy Friday night. Mani for mama while my hard working hubby washes dishes. Love the laziness after a busy week.

1/30/2014 - Triple Loop Twister

Some oldie but goodie toys were brought out from the dusty dark closet and the boys had a blast with their Triple Threat Twister set. Funny that after being in hibernation for a couple months, the kids get such a kick out of it. I also want to give a shout out to the Mattel website for giving me clear illustrations on how to put this crazy race track together. Resource little sucker of a mama! Thank you google!

1/29/2014 - MLK Oratorical Assembly Fun

Finn's class performed a song and a poem at the Annual MLK Oratorical Assembly. It was really awesome to see 60 something 5 and 6 year olds singing about Martin Luther King Jr. It was a sweet and moving performance, Proud mama here!

1/28/2014 - Spooner Safety

We bought Liam something called a Spooner Board. It is a surfboard/skateboard without wheels. The boys love it. We are insisting they stay helmeted when they ride it.

Even skaters get thirsty.

1/27/2014 - Baby Boy

Sometimes he is still my little baby. This is the moment right before he roundhouse kicks me in the face. Happy Third Birthday my little Ninja!

1/26/2014 - Pumping It Up

We celebrated Liam's 3rd birthday at Pump It Up. He felt so special. It was awesome.

1/25/2014 - Hiking

We have managed to go out in nature with the kids every weekend since the beginning of the new year. It is refreshing and fun! Keeping up with our New Years resolution!!!

We headed out to the Lafayette Reservoir. We made a short pitstop at the play area. The kids discovered a hidden tower in the play area that could only be accessed with their strong papa lifting the in and out of the high place.

We then hiked up a trail nearby. The kids actually had a blast even though it was rather warm out.

Nice time enjoying our "winter" weather.

1/24/2014 - mischievous grin

He just melts me with that grin. Too cute. Lots of admiring fans in his future.

1/23/2014 - Double Date

Jesse had some work to tackle tonight so I took the kids out to dinner. We ventured to Five Guys Burgers. It was alright! The company was what made it fantastic. Loving the special time with my boys!

1/22/2014 - favorable

Party favors done for my favorite 3 year old's bday party! Mommy feels like a rockstar today! Coloring books and mini favor bags!! No Pinterest over here!

1/21/2014 - Brudder Phase

Li is in a brother phase. When he is mad at Jesse or me, he wails for his brother. It's very sweet. For awhile we were worried they would never get along, things change all the time. Savoring the Brudder phase.

1/20/2014 - bracelets and sight reading

Rainbow loom bracelet from my best friend's daughter. It's all the rage right now.

Kid is reading full sentences! Crazy awesomeness!

1/19/2014 - Sunday Perfection

Sunday has been perfect. Sunday morning training run to the Laurel. Outdoor park time and weekend mini nature hike with the kiddos.

Love Roberts Rec playground.

Warm Sunday evening chill time in the carport. Kids scooting. Parents with beers in hand.

All we need is a Niners victory and it will be total perfection.

1/18/2014 - Love Oak Hate Oak

How can such a beautiful city also be filled with such jerks. Someone tried to break into one of the condos tonight. They were caught in the act before anything happened and the booked it. I hate feeling unsafe in my own home. I know this could happen anywhere but sometimes I just feel angry about it.

On a happier note, it is Jesse and my 10 year dating anniversary. A blissful decade  with the love of my life.

I feel like I let him get away withy rider because I can't resist that sweet face.

Today this kid drew a picture of a science lab for his Kindergarten assignment. If you look closely you can see his writing on the left. Getting better at the writing!!

We made a resolution to explore the nature areas in our area. Today we ventured to the Bay Trail. The kids loved playing on the rocks and writing in the sand.

L and F helped Papa with some chores tonight. Good little helpers.

1/9/2014 - Reading with Nana

Final night with N & G. Fun dinner out at Park Burger and some time to chill at home. Nana did the reading tonight with the kiddos. Nice visit. Sad to send them off.

1/8/2014 - Chez Panisse Chez Perfection

S & c took the kids tonight, so Jesse and I got a night out. We have resolved to use our dusty gift cards. We have had a gift card for Chez Panisse for years and finally got to use it tonight. The food was amazing. It was flavorful, but not too heavy. A meal to remember for a lifetime. Lovely night with my man. Thanks to S and C for the babysitting. Thanks to Kim and Tim for the generous gift card!! 2 or maybe three years later we made it happen!! It was worth the wait!
