Li and I were both a little under the weather today. Li got the treat if walking Finn to school. 
Then a little visit to Dr, Beans to check out some eye goobers. The doctor says he is on the mend. No meds needed.
I ended the night with Family Reading Noght at school. It was a fun event. Parents volunteered to read to small groups of kiddos. Finn had a blast! So did I. Really loving this school!

Went to Joaquin Miller for a trail run and stair climb. Wish I could have captured how pretty it was.
Then the kiddos and I ventured to Dimond Park for a morning play session. Loving the sunny mornings.
Friday nights are perfect for Fentons. After a long week, we deserved it!
Getting so big. The work and play is more focused. The combos are clearer. The moods seem more complicated, but fun. Big kid.
Finn promised a school buddy his Spinjitzu set if he would stop following around a playground. Finn mentioned it in passing. I brushed it off thinking the buddy would forget the promise. But alas, at the morning drop off, his buddy mentioned to me about the Finn promise. I hate to make Finn give up his treasured Lego, but I want him to follow through on his promise. Not letting him off the hook. He is sad to give it away, but I hope it teaches him a lesson in dealing with conflict a better way in the future. It feels awful to make him do it, but my head is saying we need to fulfill the promise. Hard to know the right thing to do.

Li and I attended a birthday party for a Chatham Buddy. It was held at the Museum of Children's Art. The kids had a blast.

Birthday 1 of 3 this weekend. Fun late Saturday night party at Pump It up. Those 5-6 year olds were surprisingly energetic.

Fun adventure to the Children's Creativity museum in the city. Kids had a blast! So did the parents.
I was the chosen parent to attend a 6 year old mini golf bday party, the 6 year old was an old preschool friend. The preschoolers had a mini reunion. It was super fun!
My coworker has a collection of cool glasses in his cubicle. Thought I would try them on and send Rhea a hipster selfie! I got the thumbs up.
I went out with a bunch of girls for dinner and drinks. No pics were taken until I got home. February is booked solid. 6 year old bday parties. 3 year old bday parties. Play dates. 100th day of school. Kindergarten field trips. Valentines parties. Oh man! Take a breath and move forward.
Since Jesse took the kiddos all day yesterday, I decided to take the boys out for a few hours to give papa a break. We went to Target and hit up an indoor play area because it rained today!!! Woo hoo! Never thought I would be so happy for rain but our CA drought needs the rain!
Today we showered my best friend who is 7 months pregnant. We all were super pampered by having our hair blown out and eating a delish lunch. Then we window shopped (some shopped shopped). Nice day! Felt like a celebrity.
