The kids participated in their first races today. Liam took first in the kid race. Finn came in 2nd for the youth race. Jesse was 19th in the 5k!

Today I feel thankful for my dad's recovery, little by little. I feel thankful for my funny, energetic kids. I feel thankful for a partner who loves and supports me through everything. I feel thankful for a huge support system of friends and family. I feel thankful for my puppy. He can be a lot of work and money, but he greets me exthusiastically every time. He cuddles me when I'm sad. He licks the sweat off my face post workout. He stands tall when we need a protector. He is playful when we need a laugh. He is my daily alarm clock. He is my walking buddy.
