1/30/2016 - Declutter day

Today we spent most of the day decluttering our house. We sold 4 bags of books, games and DVDs to Half Price books. We amassed 4 boxes for goodwill. Hoping the house will stay this way. Feels pretty darn good right now. Feeling pretty exhausted tonight from

A day of hard work. 

1/29/2016 - Rainy day off

I had a half day off today to tend to my kiddos. No school for Finny, so I kept Li home too. They hung out in the morning while I did some work. We had a late lunch with papa at Victory burger. 

After we dropped papa back at work, we went to the library. We loaded up on books and went to a coffee shop to read books and drink hot beverages.

We ended our night with dinner at Zachary's with Tio and Stacy. Nice rainy Friday.

Watching a movie, reading a book and cuddling with his favorite being, Cole. He truly is his mother's son.

1/27/2016 - 5 years old

Our kid baby turned 5 years old today. Somehow he seems more mature today. I could tell when I picked him up from school. No tantrums or complaints , just a pure joy from a great day at school. We celebrated him with dinner out at PF Changs, an operatic song from a favorite waiter and homemade cupcakes for dessert. The boys are currently putting together two Lego sets as we wind down day one of year 5! Such a good day for our big kiddo.

1/25/2016 - lapdog

He doesn't realize he is an 80 lb baby. I am eating it up today. My coworker had to put her cancer stricken 3 year old dog down today. I am soaking in my puppy love.

1/24/2016 - best buds

As we near the end of Liam's preschool time, I am starting to feel a little sad that he will be separated from Brandon and Johnny. I know he'll make new friends but I love these kiddos so much. 

1/23/2016 - Stayin in

After a busy couple weeks, we needed a lazy Saturday night to veg and rest our socializing muscles. Pizza delivery and movies were perfect to rest our exhausted selves.

1/22/2016 - Sleepover

Tonight we are hosting one of Finns buddies for a sleepover. The boys are having a blast using spy kits and indulging in froyo. I feel so lucky that our kids have such cool buddies.

1/21/2016 - Securityguard

Jess had a night out with friends tonight. Silly to say it, but I always feel safer and more secure with my security guard, Cole by my side. Thankful for my pup who has my back at all times.

We've determined if Liam were a member of The A Team, he would be Mr. T! He was introduced to the A Team tonight with Gramps.

1/19/2016 - Bucket List check off

Tonight we is end to see Van Morrison at the Fox to celebrate 60th birthdays, 40th anniversary and bucket lists. A fun time was had by all!

I am starting to enjoy my Wednesdays a lot more. Starting to drop off Liam second to stop the drop off drama. Li likes being at Sequoia. Finn gets to sleep in. Less drama for mama!

Maybe it's just me but it seems like Cole has been a bit down lately. Maybe it's having everyone back to work. Maybe it's just the winter blues. It just makes me love him even more.

My three sons are as sweet as they come. Three different personalities ! Three different ways to show their love. Three times the amount of love in my heart.

The boys came our to cheer me on my first 15k in the city. It was awesome! I like this distance. I see more 15ks in my future!

We ventured into the city to help Keegan and Natasha with an errand. The boys, Tasha and I had run exploring their new neighborhood.

Liam has developed the best friendships with his two preschool buddies. I am going to miss them when the three get split up in Kindergarten. So thankful for their friendship.

Liam has really been into "cool hair" lately. He likes Jesse and I to spike it up and make it look crazy. I think he wants to look like his bestie Johnny. It actually looks pretty awesome without a lot of product. Cool kid.
