2/29/2016 - sick day
Kept our Finn home today. That cough was just awful. He seems better now. Just want my kids to be well.
2/28/2016 - Sick day
An active day yesterday turned in to a sick day today. Poor Finn can't stop coughing. We stayed home and cleaned house all day. I hate when my kids are sick. It's the worst. His pup provided some comfort with his snuggles.

2/27/2016 - Active day
It was a beautiful day to get outside and get active. I got my morning run in at Lake Merritt.
The family went out for a family bike ride around Mills College. It was the perfect spot to ride around. Beautiful campus.pretty much empty on the weekend. Great spot to let the kids safely explore on their bikes.

2/25/2016 - cozier bed
I am convinced that we must have the most cozy bed in the house because we always are housing an additional dog or child in here. Cole has a perfectly lovely bed that gathers dust except for when Li or Finn joins us in bed.

Nice but short visit with Jiichan. The kids were excited to see their Jiichan and Baachan. Liam showed off his Cat Stance.

It was a day of buddy playtime. A Pump It Up party with both boys. They were a sweaty mess! We ended the evening with dinner with friends and frozen yogurt.

Today Finn was at his buddy, Sebastian's house for after school care. The boys enjoyed running around their house and backyard with their Nerf weapons. Such big tough Urban Warriors!

Head-Royce is closed this week so we are splitting the after school care with some other parents. Today, it was my turn.

2/14/2015 - Valentines Day in the city
We headed into the city to treat Uncle Awesome and Tasha to brunch as a belated bday present. It was a yummy brunch! We headed to Fort Mason to soak up the sunshine and then ventured to a playground for the kids to get out more energy. Perfect day with my little loves.
Our big kid lost his 3rd tooth today!! Such a cutie!
2/13/2016 - brotherhood
Jesse was on papa duty while I hung with my dad. He bravely took them to the beach in Alameda and lunch a 5 guys!! The boys had a blast!

2/11/2016 - late to bed. early to rise?
Only our kid goes to bed late and still wakes up at 5:15am. Then, he proceeds to wake up his best friend and brother. Sleep is overrated?

2/10/2016 - B sleeps over
Liam's best friend's parents needed someone to take care of Their kiddo for an early morning appt. Liam hosted his first sleepover. The boys were so stinking thrilled. In the 2 hours we had before bedtime, they played chutes & ladders, Nintendo, Legos, Pokemon and read a book. It was really sweet!

2/9/2016 - run until you stop
There are days where it feels like I wake up running and spend the entire day racing around until the moment I am too tired to do anymore. Two kids hopefully falling asleep in their room. My dog is perched on the couch waiting for us to head to bed. Juggling work, parenting, home, and my mental health. It's nice to be able to just sit and read a book at the end of the night. It feels like a luxury.

2/8/2016 - heatwave
75 degrees in February!! The kids were wandering around in short sleeve shirts at the end of winter. Though I do love warm weather, it feels weird. It will be a warm Valentine's Day, as Liam addresses his cards shirtless.
