We did an early Mother's Day lunch with Baachan today at Mitama. We always knew that Liam was a good eater, but we never realized how adventurous he would be. Little man consumed 4 sushi rolls, 2 potstickers and a couple pieces of my Chicken Katsu. Ah, I love it. I love the joy he gets when he eats good food. Watching him enthusiastically stuff an entire sushi roll in his mouth was the highlight of my weekend!

Soccer is going so well for our little Finny. We did find out today that our amazing coach, Coach Evan is going to be leaving the program to go to college. He has been the most enthusiastic and fun coach yet. I hope that next season we can get a coach as fun as Evan.

5/4/2012 - Single Parenting Madness

When one parent is so sick and out of commission, it's virtually impossible to do anything but try to maintain sanity. Poor Jesse seems to have developped a Stomach Flu of some kind and has been sleeping the whole day away. I hate it when he is sick. All I want to do is make him feel better, but with viruses, there is really nothing that you can do. Crossing my fingers that he feels better soon!

5/3/2012 - Cars 1 vs Cars 2

Cars 1 cars do not mingle with the Cars 2 cars. They can't and they don't because they are completely different movies. My cute and particular Finn. In order to play with his Pixar cars, you need to be able to differentiate the two kinds of cars. Thank god I studied the Meet the Cars book. Keeps me on the Pixar Cars game.

Those boys may be as different as can be, but they sure have the same fun loving laughter. I tried to capture the boys playing on the floor. You can't see Liam's face, but he is laughing too. Just too silly brothers thoroughly enjoying each other's company.

On the drive to Baachan's it was way to sunny for Finn not to wear his shades. This totally cracks me up. That kid is too cute.
