Jesse cashed in on his father's day gift today and took his flying lesson. His elation was indescribable. So glad to have been able to provide him with an experience of a lifetime. Crossed something off his bucket list. Feeling like a good wife today!!!

7/30/2012 - Saying our goodbyes

Tonight I said my goodbyes to my trusty Tercel. Tomorrow she heads off to the great autoauction in the sky. We donated the Tercel to St. Vincent de Paul. The towing company will be by tomorrow to pick her up. She was a lovely and trusty car and lived quite a good life. She may not have been the prettiest car, but she got me through my last couple years of college and my first couple years of working life and delivered Jesse to work daily for almost over 5 years. Thanks for the memories!!

7/29/2012 - Biker Gang

We loaded by the minivan and headed down to Lake Merritt with 2 bikes, a Skuut and a bike trailer. Finn was a total trooped and Skuuted the entire 3 miles around the Lake and still had the energy to play at the playground at the end. What a lovely Oakland Sunday bike ride. So fun!!!

Today we attended a Jack and Jill Baby Shower for my friends Sara and Tim in San Francisco. We brought along FInn's Skuut bike so he could roam around the picnic area. Liam definitely made his way around the party as well. Both boys zonked out on the ride home. Pooped from a fun party!

7/27/2012 - 18 months and growing

My sweet Liam turned 18 months old today. He woke up extra early and we had breakfast together. His latest thing is that he likes to sit on the kitchen chairs without the booster seat. Dangerous, but pretty freaking cute. Can't believe that 18 months ago I was still carrying this little stinker in my belly. Though he can totally exasperate me at times, I wouldn't change a thing about my little Li.Love our tough guy!

They are becoming such good buddies that when I ask Finn who is best friend is, he always replies Liam before anyone else's name. Love this pic. I know that they will always have each other to lean on for life.

We took an evening walk down to the local ice cream shop tonight. Liam got the best of many worlds by tasting three different flavors of ice cream. His sweet big brother immediately shared his sour melon sorbet with Liam. Liam was a happy camper tonight.
