Boys made the coolest bed out of all of the kid blankets in the house. They are giggling like crazy.

3/30/2014 - Happy 1 Year Bday Crockett
Crockett turned 1 yesterday, so we visited him at the shelter and took him for a walk. He was excited to see us. We were thrilled to give him some bday love.

3/26/2014 - Relaxation
I am sad to admit that the 20 minutes of downtime we get as the kids eat snacks and watch a pre-bedtime show, is the best relaxation. Catching up of reading feels like a trip to a spa. Motherhood has made me pretty easy to please in some ways.

3/21/2014 - Sick day
Stayed home with a mildly feverish Finn. Kid was great all day and we got too ambitious with dinner out. Poor kiddo feverish and glazed eyes. Hate it when my kids are sick.3/20/2014 - Finn's Drawing Workshop

3/17/2014 - Proud Squirrel
We received our Sequoia gear today. Jesse and Finn got tshirts. Finn and I got sweatshirts. Finny was so excited he wore his sweatshirt home from aftercare. It's too hot, but he was too proud to care!

3/15/2014 - Weekend Fun
We started our Saturday in Marin at the Bay Area Discovery Museum with the boys. It was super warm and fun to wander through all the cool exhibits!
Then on our way back we stopped by to visit Crockett. The boy was happy to see us. The kids were thrilled to see him too!

3/9/2014 - Park Party
We went to a birthday party at Coyote Point Park today. It was sunny and warm. Good times for all.
3/8/2014 - bittersweet
We brought Crockett back to the shelter today. It was the right decision. He needed more activity and a home without young kids. I bawled in the lobby of the Milo Foundation. It was embarrassing because there were tons of people there adopting puppies. I know he will find a good home. We hope to visit him next weekend if he doesn't get adopted. We can take him for a walk. 
I will miss his sweet face. We went for hot chocolates afterwards to decompress. The kids were thrilled.
