We brought Crockett back to the shelter today. It was the right decision. He needed more activity and a home without young kids. I bawled in the lobby of the Milo Foundation. It was embarrassing because there were tons of people there adopting puppies. I know he will find a good home. We hope to visit him next weekend if he doesn't get adopted. We can take him for a walk. 
I will miss his sweet face. We went for hot chocolates afterwards to decompress. The kids were thrilled.
