7/9/2013 - Busy Final Day in IA

Had a packed final day. Did an impromptu photo session with my boys this morning. Got some cute pics.

Then we headed over to the Iowa Children's Museum for some fun. It was an amazing place. Just a whole world of play and imagination for the kids.

Then we went back to eat lunch and get ready to head home. As we walked through the airport I saw this license plate and had to grab a pic of it.

The first flight was pretty easy, but I have to admit that the 2nd flight kind of drained me. So instead of actually recounting it, I will leave you with this cute pic of our boys during our Ohare layover.

9/9/2012 - Chabot Space & Science Center

From Drop Box
Today Finn requested that we go to the Space & Science Center. He's been really into Space since the Mars Landing. Thanks to Nana and Gramps for the membership, which allows us to go whenever we please and for as short or as long of a visit as necessary. Such a fun little outing. The kids enjoyed driving the rocket ships. So cute!

4/29/2012 - Big Sur Marathon Relay

From Drop Box
Jesse is a superstud and completed 3 of the 5 legs of the Big Sur Marathon today. He ran the relay with Beth, Juan and Beth's friend Mica. He was assigned to the 3rd leg, but just ran the rest of the run. We were so proud of him. Unfortunately, we missed him coming through the finish line because there were 2 hungry and tired little boys that insisted on Gas Station Snacks and shade by our assigned meeting spot. Some battles aren't worth fighting, so the boys won this one today, but there are more battles to be won by their mama!!!

1/22/2012 - Space & Science Center

For Christmas this year, we received a membership to the Chabot Space and Science Center from the grandparents. On our first rainy weekend day of the year, we took the kids over to explore. Finn had a blast running arouund pressing buttons and pulling nozzles. I love having such a curious, adventurous toddler in our house to keep us busy.
