9/29/2013 - Catharsis

"If you aren't in over your head, how do you know how tall you are?" - T. S. Eliot

Some days it feels like drowning. Drowning in stress, drowning in demands, drowning is whiny, fighting children. Sometimes you want to wave the white flag to surrender. This week I am feeling the Sunday Night Blues. Life can seem so challenging sometimes. Even when I know we can surpass this rocky terrain, I feel like sitting down and just giving up. I know that the stresses that I deal with right now are small compared to some other people's stresses, but today I feel kind of low. I know tomorrow I will feel better, it just needed to be said. I needed the catharsis of spitting it all out so I would no longer be carrying this stress in my tired body. It feels good to lighten my load a little bit.

9/28/2013 - Snuggletime?

9/27/2013 - Friday Laziness

Thank goodness for lazy Friday!!!

9/26/2013 - Adult time

Tonight I got to mingle with some other Room Parents at a mixer. It was a much needed break from the routine. It is nice to connect with other parents and take a mini break from the kiddos. I always am a happier mom after those breaks. Love coming home to my goofy kids.

9/25/2013 - Mommy morning

Today, the boys hopped out of bed with no complaints and made their beds all before heading out the door early for both school drop offs. I love dangling the carrot of croissants above their heads to get them up and at em!!!!

9/24/2013 - Mid-week Madness

Fun evening attending a potluck for the Kindergartners and 1st graders at Finny's school. Fun to connect with parents and kids. I got no photos of the event. But, I did manage to get a pic of my cute new lunch bag from Whole Foods. Little things make me happy.
