4/6/2014 - Perfect Spring Day

Perfect day! Special time with my very best friend and our families. 4 kids that got along so wonderfully. A 3 year old that finally was tall enough for the car and plane rides at the zoo. Sunny beautiful weather and all around happiness and joy! Thank you universe for a lovely and perfect Sunday with the ones that I love.

10/6/2013 - Zoo outing

I took the boys out to the zoo for a couple hours to give Papa some work time. They were so fun. We saw lots of animals and rode lots of rides. 

It's always an adventure withy active boys but I love it.

2/10/2013 - Zoo Friends

We had a zoo outing today with some friends. I swear the Oakland Zoo never gets old. We always have a fun time even if we have visited a gazillion times. The membership is the best gift we have ever received. Our wild boys had a fantastic time running around the zoo and pointing out all the cool animals. hiding in the bamboo forest, jumping on the lilypads and making faces at the reptiles. Enjoyable day today.

1/1/2013 - Zoo Day

For Christmas this year, we received an Oakland Zoo Membership from the Nana and the Gramps. I had been given money to buy a membership for my birthday and just never followed through with it, so this was a great present! We spent the first day of 2013 strolling around the zoo freezing our bums off, but having a blast. The kids thoroughly enjoyed seeing the animals after months of not visiting the zoo.

1/28/2012 - Zoo Party

We were lucky enough to have been invited to a birthday party for a friend's daughter's first birthday at the Oakland Zoo. The kids got to pet a Blue Tailed Skink, a Tortoise and a Hedgehog. It was an amazing once in a lifetime experience. Following the mini petting zoo, the kids made fun little food packets for the river otters to eat. Finn was so amazed to see the otters tear into the cool decorated art projects they did at the party.

1/2/2012 - Zoo with the cousins

We took a trip to the Oakland Zoo today with K, T & K. Though the animals were enjoyable to see, the main attraction is always the zoo rides. Finn and Kai enjoyed the train ride into the Australian Outback with K & T as chaperones. Can't say it enough that I am loving how close Finn and Kai are. It is too cute to see how happy they are to spend time together.
